An IoT-based environmental monitoring platform. It manages climate risks using real-time air, climate, and water data. Strong ESG relevance, public-sector integration, and scalability make it attractive to investors.
The innovation solves the lack of reliable environmental data. It monitors air, climate, and water in real time. This protects health, reduces climate risks, and enables evidence-based decision-making.

The BRIGAID Business Development Programme has been successfully completed. A MAF+ assessment has been conducted and its results have been enriched and incorporated into a business plan document.
The system’s main components have been individually tested, and an initial integration has been completed.
“Green Monitoring” is an IoT-based environmental monitoring platform. Stations measure air quality, temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and water indicators in real time. Data is transmitted to a central server for analysis and displayed on a map-based interface. The system generates automatic alerts when risk levels are detected. The platform provides transparent information for citizens, experts, and authorities, enabling faster, evidence-based decisions and better climate risk management.
“Green Monitoring” is a multi-layer IoT-based environmental monitoring system. The project begins with the deployment of smart field stations. Each station measures air quality (PM2.5 and gases), climate parameters (temperature, humidity, pressure), and water quality indicators in real time. The units are powered by solar energy, allowing autonomous operation without grid dependency.
Collected data is transmitted wirelessly (Wi-Fi, 4G, or LoRa) to a central server. On the server side, data is automatically cleaned, validated, and analyzed using intelligent algorithms. The system detects deviations from safe levels, assesses risk, and generates alerts. Information is presented through a map-based interface, enabling users to quickly identify affected areas.
The platform follows an open-data approach, providing reliable information to citizens, researchers, and public authorities. Its modular architecture allows easy scaling and integration of additional sensors. The system is designed to enable early detection of environmental risks, protect public health, and strengthen climate resilience.
Yes, system effectiveness depends on certain conditions. Sensors require regular calibration and maintenance; otherwise, data accuracy may decrease. In areas with poor or no internet connectivity, real-time transmission is limited. Extreme weather conditions (heavy snow, sandstorms, flooding) can damage equipment. Additionally, the system provides data and alerts, but actual response actions depend on local authorities and governance decisions.
